Biography Dr. Mark Leaper is a Senior Lecturer in Process Technology in the Pharmaceutical Technologies Group, the School of Pharmacy, De Montfort University. He has a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University, a MSc in Bulk Solids Handling from Glasgow Caledonian University and obtained his PhD in 2002 in Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham, examining the applications of fluidisation in separating particle systems. He has also worked at the Universities of Greenwich and Nottingham, examining various aspects of powder processing, and for a period of time in industry, designing powder handling systems, mostly for pharmaceutical and food processing companies.
